Reston, VA (March 12, 2018) - The Baltimore Washington Laborers’ District Council, an affiliate of the Laborers' International Union of North America, announced its endorsement of Will Jawando for At-Large Montgomery County Councilmember.

“As an attorney, activist, and community leader dedicated to public service, Will Jawando is ideally suited to represent the residents of Montgomery on the County Council,” said David Allison, Business Manager of the Council. “Will understands the importance ofcollective bargaining and the value of unions in the workplace. He is committed to policies that will lift up working people.”

Across the Baltimore-Washington region, the Council is actively endorsing and supporting candidates for elected office who align with thevalues of its members. Today’s endorsement of Will Jawando is a continuation of that effort.
