Reston, VA (November 20, 2017) – After Virginia Governor-elect Ralph Northam announced his selections for his Transition Committee, Dennis Martire, Vice President and Regional Manager of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) Mid-Atlantic made the following statement:

This is an incredible honor for the men and women of Virginia who work with their hands to build Virginia every day. LIUNA proudly supports Governor Elect Northam because we share in the same mission of helping working families get ahead.

As a union of construction workers and public service employees, we know the importance of a solid foundation. It is a privilege to join the team that Ralph has selected, and I am confident we can build a foundation in which all Virginians will have confidence moving forward.
